I have unofficial and unproven suspicions about 1.2 having hacks. I'm sure that most will say that they've known for a very long time, but this would be the first time that I've truly felt that our opponents were hacking. At first, I didn't think much of it because one of them was an outstanding spammer. There were occasions during game play that seemed nearly impossible to exact my location. They would turn red and a few seconds later turn a corner and kill me. The gameplay was too fast for them to know my exact location. I, being a veteran player, could not keep up with them. There were several times that I got lucky, or happened to get to them first, but most of the time, they had an advantage .. some sort of advantage. I'm not going to name any names simply because I'm not that type of guy. I, like many veterans of GR, am not an appreciator of cheating. I know that there will be hackers and cheaters throughout the electronic gaming world, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Watch yourselves on 1.2.
Not too much has changed. Many rumors going around that IKH has become iKa. Since I'm the Co-Ldr, I'm here to set the record straight. IKH will never merge with another clan and lose the IKH name. Members of IKH may have joined another clan since most of IKH has migrated to another gaming platform. I'm still IKH and I will forever remain IKH. iKa is a reputable clan and any of the members or founders will tell you that they are not actively trying to merge with IKH. Anyhow, I changed the Map Mods in the Downloads section considerably. I re-modified most of them and added some new ones. Also, there have been several clans that have been modifying the files to try and make them their own and trying to get rid of my good name for modding. Not that it makes much of a difference, but I changed the download from a ZIP file to a EXE file. I went ahead and did research on installers so I included all the install features for you. Just download and install .. no more searching for folders and figuring out which files go where. I don't see there being any problems with it, but if their are .. best page me and I'll square it off. Coming soon, I'll be adding a new weapon's mod for 1.0!!! YES, 1.0. I figured out some hellacious mods on my own .. kinda nerdy, but it was fun. Many of the weapon mods include weapons from the G8 Special Forces Weapon's Mod and the FN Weapon's Mod. Instead of activating them under the Mods section in the options, you can now use them in 1.0 without activating anything. Unfortunately, this particular mod will never be a server sided mod. You will never be able to host with these weapons as primary use. It's mainly designed as a single player mod. I'm not quite done with it, but it's fun modding and testing it. Anyway, Game on. Sorry that it took such a long time for me to get back in the swing of things. I had to get some new software that was compatible with Vista to work on the website and other than that, I do have a life that I try not to envelope around video games. I miss playing online and I know that it has been a long while since the site has had any proper updates. That whole gig for the tourney didn't turn out so well since I couldn't host it and among other things Well, the site isn't up to par just yet. While I was on leave from GR, IKH has moved to other gaming arenas like DOD and CS Source. This site was originated for Ghost Recon or other GR gaming platforms up through to GRAW so this site will remain GR and will later include records and stats from the other games. It's nice to be back in the swing of things. I hope you guys start making a come back to GR and to this site. Play on The Enlistment is back up and running on the new 50megs.com free site service. I went ahead and dished out an entire dollar to have a full year with no banners or pop-ups. I figured it could be worth it. I apologize to all those that are still having shitty problems with the freewebs site. I've come to the conclusion that freewebs has lost it's touch and worthiness. I've used 50megs.com many times in the past and even introduced Jess to creating the clan sites for the clans she was in with 50megs. Anyway, this site is now fully functionally. IKH has not closed and will not close even long after Ghost Recon is completely dead. We've come to realize that IKH is more than just a clan based solely on CB's and Ghost Recon. We're all good friends or those that have been with IKH for a long time. We are still recruiting new players. We've lost a few due to inactivity or some have rejoined previous clans. We're looking for 2 more players who feel they are worthy to be apart of IKH, not just as a clan member, but as someone who doesn't mind just getting on and simply playing a few games with friends. I've run into a few issues with freewebs.com regarding the enlistment page and the bandwidth for the site which has not been reset. If I see another requests in our guestbook to update the site, I will completely ignore it until I receive an e-mail. This goes for IKH Members as well. If you won or lost a CB, you are REQUIRED to TURN IT IN. I don't care if it's the shittiest clan that kicked our ass .. I want the results. E-mail it to me without question. That includes 1 vs. 1's with other clan members. If you CB someone who is not in another clan, it is your sole responsibility to keep track of those. They aren't going on this site. Note: I'm sorry for cracking down on ya'll like this, but I've been catching way too much heat for something that I had no part in. I know that we're a clan an all, but I feel singled out. Help me take on this burden. I've gotten rid of the members profiles temporarily. I have a few ideas to help create profiles for all active members but there's one catch. You have to help me keep it updated. I will create a way for you to send me new information. If you have any new suggestions, let me know .. so far, the only person who helps with new updates is Chubbz. lol! As you guys can tell, I've done some major cleaning with the site. There is a new flash enabled logo that I created, but in order for it to work correctly, you'll need to download the flash plug-in. To get it, click here. I'd also like to get member suggestions for the website. I'm limited on the number of files that freewebs will allow, so if you have suggestions that will help get around this hindrance, let me know. All of you who want to be listed on our links and logos page, contact me with the website address and a logo if you have one. Everyone in IKH is getting lazy. The only person to have their entire profile complete is me, Loach. So someone of you queer baits need to get up off you ass and give me a song and a replay of you owning!! Are we clear? Member Profiles are up and running. I still need to add the music and ownage clips. I've been working on character skins for IKH and I got a bit carried away. I'll be updating the enlist page to include additional information such as the enlisters game interest (i.e. maps, weapon kits, etc...). Clan Links and Logos have been updated. The *sic* site still isn't working. If you know the updated website address, let me know. I've had some issues integrating the previous guestbook entries. It looks like we're going to start over.
